MS. SANDY BENNETT: My name is Sandra Bennett, I'm a partner here at Zucker & Bennett. I graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a concentration in Criminology. I then went on to Fordham University School of Law in Manhattan, right here in New York and I graduated with a law degree in 2004.
And after I graduated law school, I went straight to the Legal Aide Society in Manhattan where I represented indigent clients and guided them through our criminal justice process and helped them exercise their Constitutional rights. It was extremely rewarding to me, to be able to help people when they needed help and they were unable to help themselves.
I then joined my father's firm, Zucker & Bennett, and growing up with my father and listening to his stories about the cases that he dealt with and the clients that he became involved with, and the relationships that he developed with them, I always knew that this is what I wanted to do.
It's always appeared to me that he felt that it was so rewarding being able to help people, whether or not they received inadequate medical attention or whether they had some sort of accident and they were unable to help themselves.
And since coming to Zucker & Bennett, that is what I've strived to do. I strive to develop a personal relationship with all my clients and I do my best to help them get the compensation that they so deserve.
